Clarisonic Mia 2 Review : Sephora Singapore

Hi girls!

Today's review will be on the least expensive range of Clarisonic's Sonic Skin Cleaning Systems, Mia 2 :)

I had been using Mia 2 for more than three months now and I can say that my breakouts minimized a lot! I feel that my skin has become smoother, less oily and it does look radiant.

Updated: As of today (4-Jan 2014) I had been using Clarisonic Mia 2 for more than a year =) and still lovin' it!

I'm actually glad that it works just nice on my skin type (oily to combination).
Why? I had been reading reviews from others that after using Clarisonic, their skin started to break out. That's a bit scary right? Bought mine for S$249 on Sephora Ion Orchard and if it doesn't do good on your skin, then we're on a deep shit... haha!

I'm only using the cleanser during night time as I just need to make sure that my makeup has been totally clean; or no residue has been left behind before sleeping. Then when I wake up in the morning, I just use my hands to cleanse my face with my usual face cleanser (I had been using Olay Regenerist Cleanser). I feel that my face is not that dirty. And besides, I do not want to rub my skin too much, it strips natural oils and will cause dryness. Dryness leads to wrinkles and fine lines, and that's not what we are aiming for. We wish for that baby soft skin, that we all used to have last time :)

Below shows how I use my Clarisonic Mia 2:

1. Remove makeup using your normal makeup remover.
2. Wet your face and the Clarisonic brush using a warm water.

3. Squeeze the cleanser on your palm and apply to the brush head.... spread it evenly, just like how you do your peanut butter jelly... =D

4. And turn On the brush. 20 sec on your forehead area, another 20 sec on chin area including your neck, and 10 sec each on your cheek area.

5. Rinse face first with warm water and follow with cold water to seals in the moisture.
6. Pat dry and apply your serum, eye cream and moisturizer.

Now on to taking care of your investment :

How do I clean my clarisonic?
I wash the brush-head and handle separately using warm water + hand soap (Kirei Kirei antibacterial foaming hand soap).

Rinse and shake off excess water by brushing the brush head on to a clean hand-towel.

Then, I let it air dry inside my room. By the way, I notice my brush head seems cleaner or maybe whiter after I switch to a different cleanser (Olay Clarity Fresh Cleanser) or maybe after using Kirei hand soap. Im not sure which one though, I will monitor it and update you if the brush-head color changes again. But I'll be replacing my brush head in the next few weeks. So hopefully, changes will be noticeable before I replace the brush head.

Note : Clean the brush head regularly, at least once a week.

Thank you again for reading my blog and feel free to leave a comment below for products that you would like me to review or just any comment under the sun :)
