DIY : All Natural Honey and Salt Facial Scrub

Do you have that irritating pimple sitting on your face right now? Who doesn't? I hate it, but I've learned to deal with it. And I've got discovered a DIY scrub that really works.

Pimples, they usually go away after sometime. But the sooner you treat them, the more likely you'll be able to get rid of them.

I would normally get pimple when my period is coming near, or when I tried a new product, or when I wasn't able to wash my face the night before, or when I sleep late, or simply, when I don’t sleep at all.

Others say, if you want to dry pimple, you can apply toothpaste on it and leave it overnight (which I have not tried though). Or you can try honey and salt facial scrub which I normally use to help clear my pimples fast =)

What you'll need:

a. 1/2 teaspoon of salt

b. 1 teaspoon honey

c. small mixing bowl

Measurements are for one time use only. You just need to make sure that the mixture is pretty thick, so that it won't drip off your face (that is messy).

Mix all the ingredients together. Then wash or cleanse your face. Let it dry and apply the honey-salt facial evenly. Keep away from the eye area while applying and massaging, do small circle strokes especially on the sides of your nose and on the pimple area. Be very gentle, salt can be very rough. I'm using the normal sea salt that you can get on supermarket.

Leave it on for about 5 to 7 mins, take note that you'll feel a little bit of sting but that should be okay. Then wash your face with warm water. Pat it dry, and make sure you apply moisturizer, it's a must!

Your skin will feel smoother right away, I assure you.

Do this every other night, till the pimple dries up and say hello to a pimple-free skin!

MAC Eye Shadow Mini Haul

I was amazed to find MAC eye shadows on my closet this morning! Can you imagine a guy buying makeup on the counter? That is soo gay, quite cute and I think, sexy =)

Moving on, anyone who have no experience or have not tried putting eye shadow makeup at all will have a very difficult time looking for which shades they should go for. My husband has asked the saleslady for any recommendation and since he knows that I have been eying for a yellow-type shade, he have picked 'Sunny Spot', the rest are Amber Lights, Dazzlelight and Knight Divine.

  • Dazzlelight : Neutral with shimmer (Veluxe Pearl)
put on your browbone as a highlight or on the corner of your eyes for that brightening effect

  • Sunny Stop : Light acid green yellow (Matte)
